Ninakaye Taane-Tinorau

Hailing from the Ngāti Maniapoto tribe, Ninakaye has managed her brother, high-profile artist Tiki Taane, as well as his companies, trust, and record label since 2007. She is a mentor for NZ Music Managers Forum, and founding member of Māori Music Managers Development Initiative. Ninakaye is hugely passionate about building relationships with other First Nations people and is also an Ambassador for the global ‘My Sisters Are Warriors’ movement. She has extensive experience across public health, film and television, event management and fitness industries. Ninakaye draws upon her colourful personal experiences as a resilient grandmother, as well as recovered stripper and addict in her quest to help others on their journey.
