Ian 'Esky' Escandor

Esky’s passions lie in exploring creative and exciting avenues which build stronger communities. His work involves mentorship of emerging artists, curation of projects that highlight diverse cultures and arts, community development, youth therapeutic work and performances where he shares his stories through Hip Hop. Through his music, he shares stories of struggle, resilience, having fun and growing up with migrant parents in a marginalised area. Esky has worked alongside many organisations and community groups throughout his professional career. Currently, he works as the Senior Coordinator at Street University Mt Druitt, Director at opnsrc.co, and contributor at the Western.
