Dr Glen Hodges is coordinator of Jazz and Popular Music at the University of Tasmania. In an extended tertiary career he has received a number of commendations for teaching, program design and management. He supervises a wide range of postgraduate research projects ranging from performance and improvisation to analysis and composition and has been active in promoting research with creative outcomes. He is endorsed by Yamaha Guitars and Hancock Archtops and has performed with some of Australia's finest jazz musicians. He has also been involved in church music for some 35 years across a number of liturgical styles.
