Once upon a time, John worked for various major and Independent labels, doing stuff such as sales guy, National Promotions and Publicity Manager, Marketing Manager and A&R. He also worked at the pointy end of developing the careers of artists such as Powderfinger, The Cruel Sea and Tex Perkins.
John then bailed on label life and started The Right Profile, an artist services outfit specialising in radio plugging, online promo, media training and consultancy. During this time, he has had the pleasure of working with, and developing, some of Australia’s finest acts including Birds Of Tokyo, Dan Sultan, Drapht, Gordi, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, EGOISM and a whole lot more.
