Sean Foran

Sean Foran is an award winning pianist and composer from Brisbane. He has received the Brisbane City Council Artist Fellowship, APRA PDA Award, APRA/AMC State Award and is a seven-time Queensland Music Award winner. Most known for his work with the improvised music groups Trichotomy and Berardi/Foran/Karlen, he has toured extensively nationally and internationally and collaborated with a range of contemporary and classical artists around the world. He is Head of Music at JMC Academy Brisbane, co-director of publisher Prepared Sounds, associate artist of the Australian Music Centre, and Board Member of Wangaratta Jazz Festival.
