#About BIGSOUND
BIGSOUND 2020 will focus on community, survival and re-futuring, building on its almost two decade history of bringing music, art and business together in a new conference program custom-built for the challenges and awakenings that 2020 has delivered.
Delegate passes will be FREE for BIGSOUND 2020 to ensure equal access for an industry that has been devastated by the effects of COVID-19.
The music industry has historically proven it can remain agile and is able to adapt to change. In response to the COVID-19 crisis, coupled with the social and cultural conversations that are taking place on a global level, BIGSOUND will provide a national platform for the music industry to regather and navigate the current landscape.
These remain our core values:- Connectivity – connection is a key value set against the COVID-19 backdrop.
- Discovery - New music, new relationships and new ideas.
- Collaboration - A diverse music community that connects with each other and other creative communities and art forms for ideas, income streams and export opportunities.
- Leadership - Empowering and inspiring entrepreneurialism.
- Innovation - Building a more resilient music industry to ensure sustainability and success.
- Diversity and Inclusion - Celebrating our differences, and connecting culturally through the universal language of music.
BIGSOUND aims to unpack opportunities for artists and music professionals to realise their full potential and survive and thrive in a new world economy during and post COVID-19.
