#Supercharge your event experience

  • Log in 30 minutes prior to the start of your first BIGSOUND conference session to familiarise yourself with the Delegate Portal, various streaming channels and what’s on for the day.

  • Get involved using the conference stream live chats!

  • Engage with the BIGSOUND community on Twitter using #BIGSOUND20

  • Check out #TheBIGSOUND50

  • We recommend you use Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari or Microsoft Edge browsers and check you have a strong internet connection.

  • For the best experience please use a device with a larger screen like a computer, laptop or television instead of a tablet or smartphone.

#Access the BIGSOUND conference streams and live chat

Once the BIGSOUND event website goes live on Wednesday 21 October you will be able to select your desired stream from the website homepage and follow the prompts to log in to view the stream content.

#Watch on demand

Extend your BIGSOUND past the event and watch anything you missed (or just want a recap on!) via the on demand video hub.

  1. Login to your Delegate Portal here.

  2. Navigate to your Dashboard.

  3. Once each video has been aired in the conference streams it will appear under the Videos tab in your Dashboard, alongside Your Connections, Your Events, About Me, and Your Offers.

If you would like to turn on closed captions for the video you may do so using the video settings.

#Access Party Q&As via Zoom

If you’re registered to attend either the Wedance or Indigenous North Q&As following the parties, you’ll receive an email the day of the event with details on how to join the private Zoom call. This information will also be readily available in the Party and Q&A event pages 30 minutes before each event.

Once the Q&A starts, get in quick as there is limited capacity to keep these sessions intimate.

#Connect with the music industry

Take advantage of BIGSOUND’s music industry networking portal and connect with delegates from across the globe.

We recommend scheduling in your BIGSOUND meetings during the event while the vibe online is buzzing!

How to connect:

  1. Enter the delegate networking portal here.

  2. Search and use filtering options to find delegates you would like to connect with.

  3. Ask to “Connect” and wait for the delegate to confirm the connection.

  4. Once the other delegate has accepted your connection request, you’ll have access to any contact information provided.

  5. Get in touch and arrange to catch up virtually during BIGSOUND!

#Get involved socially

#How to contribute to a safe online space

QMusic is committed to doing everything in its power to ensure that everyone has a safe, inclusive and transformational experience during BIGSOUND. We want everyone who attends the virtual event to leave with positive feelings, having fully participated as a valued member of the BIGSOUND community.

All BIGSOUND attendees have a right to a safe and inclusive experience and any individual found not upholding these standards will be removed from the platform.

  1. Be kind and courteous. We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

  2. No hate speech or bullying. Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind is prohibited, including potentially degrading or offensive comments about race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity.

  3. Respect everyone's privacy. Connecting with other delegates requires mutual trust and contacts gained through the delegate portal are to remain private to the two individuals involved.

What to do if you or another individual feels unsafe or uncomfortable:
