Tim Shiel

Tim Shiel ​is a self-managed artist and radio broadcaster based in Melbourne. 
He is a passionate champion of creative music, and an outspoken advocate for artist wellbeing and new ways of thinking. He is the host of both Double J's Arvos show and triple j's long-running outsider music show Something More. As a musician, his eclectic background includes a series of acclaimed indie game soundtracks as well as time spent touring with long-time friend and collaborator ​Gotye. Tim founded the artist-run record label Spirit Level in 2014, and maintains a collaborative studio space in North Melbourne's Meat Market arts precinct.
