#About We Set Signals

Signed to We Are Triumphant in 2017, We Set Signals are the Brisbane five-piece giving rock heavyweights a run for their money with their infectious pop-punk and metalcore.

“We are an energetic band who are not afraid to get the crowd interacting with us at a live show. We do this for the love of making music that expresses our personal experiences… [For] the rush of getting on stage in front of a crowd and hearing them scream your lyrics with you.”

In 2020, the band have been inspired by “the strength of the whole music industry and the fans”. They say it’s been encouraging to see people buying merch to support artists and their crews, and spending money at venues “to keep them alive, so we have places to play our shows post COVID-19”. The increased interaction between fans and artists has been incredible, too. “[Like] being able to connect with them online, and [giving someone their] dream of talking to their favourite artist on a live stream.”

With over five million streams on their last split EP, the rockers join #TheBIGSOUND50 with their sights set on their next big step. When touring resumes they’d like to see themselves landing spots as main supports for major Aussie and international artists (take note, booking agents).

“In 10 years, we see ourselves touring full time around the world. Being that inspiration, [so] other smaller bands can see that with hard work and dedication you can make your dreams come true.”

#About

We Set Signals is a five-piece Brisbane rock band who combine elements of pop punk and metalcore reminiscent of heavyweights such as A Day To Remember and I Prevail. We Set Signals started to gain momentum around Australia and America after the dual EP ‘Abandon Ship / Abandon Hope’ was released in 2018. From this the band began to headline tours around Australia as well as gaining support spots on major tours.

With all their 2020 Australian and international touring plans postponed, We Set Signals decided to release five singles in the lead up to their debut album 'Ordo', released on September 25th. Each single hit over 10K streams within the first 24hrs with 'Where Were You' consistently sitting at number five on the triple j Metal Chart and added to rotation on triple j and Rage.
