Introducing Melbourne-based, Zimbabwe-born, London-raised artist KYE. Taking influence from the likes of Kehlani, Solange and NAO, KYE’s modern take on neosoul is fuelled by her formidable songwriting, effortless vocal and vast network of collaborators in Melbourne’s increasingly renowned community of creatives in RnB, hip-hop and future soul.
KYE created the first single ‘Good Company’ by curating some of that scene’s most promising young producers in Fossa Beats (FKI 1st, Allen Ritter), Billy Davis (Denzel Curry, Van Jess), Tentendo (Majestic Casual) and Simba Andrews.
Currently creating her debut EP project, KYE is working with an array of Australia’s best producers and artists including Styalz Fuego, 18YOMAN, Jerome Farah, UNO Stereo and more.
An exceptional live performer, KYE has shared the stage with Sampa The Great, Ruel, Meg Mac, Jessica Mauboy and Adrian Eagle while also penning songs with Billy Davis, Van Jess and others.
