#Details

Sometimes we know that a change will occur, while other times it comes suddenly and unexpectedly. Enter COVID. The disruption to Australia’s music industry in 2020 has been profound. But any life is a life of change and adjusting to change can be challenging even when it’s planned. So, what happens when the change is monumental, lands upon us without notice and forces us to adapt?

Led by music industry coach Viv Fantin, this panel is a discussion with singer/songwriter Gordi, artist manager Charlotte Abroms, Isol-Aid co-founder Emily Ulman and registered psychologist Dr Chris Stevens, around the challenges of managing change when the ground beneath us is constantly shifting. Even among the difficulties we face, can we find opportunities to make personal and wider changes to the way we operate in our music industry?

Viv Fantin is an accredited certified coach working with those in the creative industries to identify, set and achieve clear goals. Through her work, she creates more space for fun and work/life balance. Join Viv as she guides BIGSOUND delegates through the changes COVID has created for the music industry and hear her helpful advice on ways to manage that change and develop successful outcomes to support your music business.
