River Boy is the new solo project of Narayana Johnson (one half of Willow Beats). His music draws extensively on his childhood and teenage years, spent roaming creeks, forests and mountains in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales.
His work as one-half of Willow Beats has seen huge success across streaming platform, as well as support from triple j. The duo had sell-out tours across Australia, while also appearing on festival bills such as Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Beyond the Valley, Clockenflap (Hong Kong); and also supporting artists such as Tash Sultana.
River Boy is off to a flying start, with more than 100,000 streams on Spotify: having been featured in Spotify’s Deadly Beats, curated by Alethea Beetson, and additions to radio stations across the country.
