Australia already knows the skills, smarts and incredible flow of Dallas Woods. But this year, the East Kimberly-bred rapper is dialling everything up a notch.

After releasing his first single ‘9 Times Out Of 10’ in 2018, Dallas burst onto the stage at Spotify’s inaugural Front Left Live event, performing alongside Baker Boy, Hatchie, Cosmo’s Midnight and CXLOE x Kota Banks to a packed room at Carriageworks in Sydney.

Dallas has since gathered more than 130,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and has been featured in more than 15 editorial playlists; amassing 2 million streams across his tracks on Spotify. You may have seen him featured in Front Left, The Drip, Beats n’ Bars, Breaking Hits, The Local List and more.

Dallas has also been named triple j Unearthed’s Indigenous Artist of the Year and enjoyed high rotation with each of his singles so far. Woods has also performed at the National Indigenous Music Awards and played to huge crowds at Bluesfest and Groovin the Moo. In 2019 he was tapped to contribute to Red Bull’s 64 Bars series, delivering an incendiary three-minute rap about his hometown that’s pulled in over 300,000 views online.

Now, less than two years on from his first release, he’s one of Australian hip-hop’s most hotly-tipped acts. And with what Dallas Woods has on the way this year, the big moments are going to keep on coming.
