Developing her own brand of brooding pop, Toowoomba-based artist CLOE TERARE is showing she’s a voice to be heard.
Having co-written her 2019 single ‘Easy’ with Gold Coast electronic R&B artist/producer DVNA, Cloe has received huge reviews from Dave Ruby Howe: "[s]he's sounding like gold on this track."
Pair that with Claire Mooney’s rave review: "CLOE melts over the top here" - CLOE is starting to make a noise.
Halfway through 2019, she caught the ear of electronic producer PACES, who played an early role in the careers of Tkay Maidza, Kučka, Jess Kent and NYNE. In August this year, the two officially announced their new project 'Dayliites', releasing their debut 'Diamonds' on ‘Off Leash Records.’ Having built an audience of 13,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, the pair have since been added to New Music Friday AU & NZ and chill af. The record also received coverage in NME, Purple Sneakers and was added to triple j Unearthed rotation.
With a bunch of Dayliites releases around the corner, and key features to round out the year, CLOE is definitely one to keep an eye on in 2021.
